We first thought about it in a Board Room. One of us was presenting a large investment project using an elaborate financial model, and the other was asking pointed questions in an attempt to make a fully informed decision. Neither side was happy. Both of us – mature, highly skilled and hard-working professionals – were looking, in frustration, at unreadable spreadsheets and schematic slides. There had to be a better way to do it!
After endless brainstorming sessions, there emerged the concept of Whatifster. Many twists and turns later, there came the developer who knew how to implement the founders’ idea. And finally, there was the first widget and a clear plan for how to add more.
Alexander uniquely combines senior executive experience with entrepreneurial skills. His career took him to major international financial institutions and large corporations as well as new business projects. Alexander earned his MBA degree from Simon Fraser University. He lives with his family in Vancouver, Canada.
Vadim brings vast international and financial experience spanning major global banks, diplomatic postings and top project management roles, both in corporate and entrepreneurial settings. A graduate of Moscow University and Financial Academy, he resides with his family near Washington DC in the U.S.
